Holy Week and Easter 2018


Palm Sunday, March 25

         Masses             4:30 p.m. Vigil, 8:00, 10:00 a.m. 12:00 noon

         Each Mass will include the blessing of palms.  Children are invited to be part of the procession at 10:00 a.m. before going to the Children’s Liturgy of the Word in the undercroft.

Incense is used at 4:30 p.m., 8:00 and 10:00 a.m.

Holy Thursday, March 29

7:00 p.m. Mass the Lord’s Supper

This Mass includes the washing of feet and a procession with the Blessed Sacrament from the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, call the parish office for a reservation.

Incense is used.

Good Friday, March 30

8:30 a.m. Morning Prayer

Morning Prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours (the Breviary) is prayed in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. 

12:00 Noon Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion

This liturgy includes the proclamation of the Passion according to St. John, Prayers of the Faithful, Veneration of the Cross and Communion.

Holy Saturday, March 31

8:30 p.m. The Easter Vigil

This Mass includes the blessing of the Easter Candle, a vigil service of Scripture readings, the sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation for our Elect (Catechumens).

Incense is used.

Easter Sunday, April 1

Masses 8:00, 10:00 a.m. 12:00 Noon

Incense is used at the 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon Masses.



St. Mary's Ladies Society

Please join us for May Crowning on Wednesday, May 16th at 7 pm in the Church.  Refreshments will follow in the Church Hall.

This year St. Mary's Ladies Society will be having a "Split the Pot".  tickets are $1 each, 6 for $5 or 12 for $10. The drawing will be held on May 16th in the Church Hall after the May Crowning of the Blessed Mother. The proceeds are used to cover laundry expense of the Church linens, cards for First Communion and Confirmation students and our parish shut-ins.

Tickets can be found and printed by clicking below or in the Church book racks or in the Parish Office. Chances can be put in an envelop marked "St. Mary's Ladies Raffle" and dropped in the Sunday collection basket or mailed to the Parish Office.
