Lighting Luminaries to create awareness of Life Issues on Saturday, December 7th the Blessing of the luminaries will be right after 4:30 pm Mass. (Rain date is Dec. 8th)

We would like to invite you to participate in this upcoming event during Advent as a way to get involved in the parish and to learn more about the life issues so important in our world today.

On December 7th, near the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. James LIFE Ministry is sponsoring Lights for Life. Our Lady of Guadalupe is the patroness of the unborn demonstrates a witness to our community of the importance of valuing and protecting life.  Join us in this beautiful, seasonal witness to Life. There are several ways to get involved, join in for any, or all of the following:

1-3 PM Assemble and place luminaries on the grounds
3-4:30 PM Light luminaries
5:30-5:45 PM Caroling procession & Blessing of Luminaries after 4:30 pm Mass
9-9:45 PM Clean up luminaries
4:30-9 PM Drive past to view the luminaries and Say a prayer!

Revenue from our fund raisers help to support group activities such as the Fall Dance for Adults with Disabilities, the flowers in our award winning LIFE garden, Mother's Day and Father's Day recognition, the Baby Shower for Pregnancy Center West, etc.
